The Wilderlands boxed set. It's just amazing.

It's more like 18 giant maps with thousands of locations :).

And many, many, many (my Police Academy Cmdt Lassrad impression) "painstakingly" detailed areas...I know, cause I painstakingly detailed a ton of them.

what exactly is this product, from the preview it looks like one giant map with hundreds of locations. is that basically it? (looks pretty damn cool though.)

Here's a preview of Chapter 10: Lenap

Damn, I know I should have picked this up at GenCon, but I didn't want to go over my set budget. Now I have to wait until it is released through the regular channels...

To all that are waiting for the street date-

One of the auctions I am running (going up somtime before next week) contains the following:

CSIO
Caverns of Thracia
Players Guide to the Wilderlands
Wilderlands Boxed Set (which I bought at GenCon and I am painfully selling)

So you might not have to wait until the street date...
And yes it is worth it!

Aaron.

Thanks for that great overview, Melan.

Between this, Blackmoor, and Castle Zagyg, it looks like some old school classics are finding a new audience.

(And then the new Runequest next year ...)

Hmm...

Anyone know why Amazon is claiming it can't ship for weeks? Is something going on, or is it just more of Amazon's usual brilliant scheduling?

(Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if it is just Amazon screwing up as usual. They've got the product listed as D20 modern-related, for Pete's sake...)
