I would say that this is vey likely.Warforged aren't in the game is because WotC told them not to.

Given the last minute change to racial ASIs, I would say that's complete nonsense.I'd say it's very unlikely, they'd have known any off limits from the start before it ever got to that point in game development.
Given the last minute change to racial ASIs, I would say that's complete nonsense.
There would have been continuous ongoing dialogue between WotC and Larian throughout development. That's the way grown-ups do buisiness.
One one hand I need to poke at how they did their Firbolg, as I'm trying to get 5E style ones over to NWN (because 1-3E style Firbolgs are as easy as 'rescale human' which. I already got that for other giants and titans)Wait there is more, just released today is the Races of the Multiverse mod that adds 54 new races (+some subraces).
From Aasimar to Shifters to Veldken, to Changeling to Hexbloods to 2024 Goliaths, etc...

It's probably best to stick with provable facts. 'Reading between the lines' is just an opinion influenced by wishful thinking. And yes Larian can use any D&D race that is exclusively own by WotC, sometimes you have to read between the lines.
In order to "read between the lines" you need ABSOLUTE IMPARTIALITY. Otherwise you just read what you want to read (then wonder why you are constantly being disappointed). It's probably best to stick with provable facts. 'Reading between the lines' is just an opinion influenced by wishful thinking.
