Splinter Cell does this to me.

Thanks. Hope ya like it.GlassJaw said:Yes it did, thanks. I haven't had much time to look at it yet though - hopefully in the next couple of days. I'll let you know.
Maybe a little, but I generally plaued right before bed, so.. I've had lots of dreams with a light gem in them. The worst was the one where the gem malfunctioned, and I was on my own halfway through a mission... "You mean I'm normal now!? NOOO!!!"darkelfo said:Have there been any "official" non-fan fiction Thief-related novels published? Playing the game is like being in the movie, but I'd curl up with a book -- WITH THE LIGHTS ON.

Metal Age was cool- I liked what it did for the story- but Karrass.. He sounds like Droopy Dog on Helium! I wished, and wished, and hoped, and even prayed to the builder that I could put a sword in his head, or an arrow in his chest.. I evenAngcuru said:So very true.![]()
My favorite of the series is The Metal Age by FAR.
The Dark Project, despite being godly aweome, lost points for because of excessive use of undead and such monsters.
Deadly Shadows would be my fave, but for the complete lack of difficulty. I mean seriously, I made it through the game on elite difficulty with no trouble at all. Didn't get caught once. Shalebridge scared the living crap out of me, though. Awesome level. I also miss the briefings with the sketchbook illustrations. So awesome. Being able to prowl the streets and pick pockets/mug people was a nice change, though I would have expected The City to be bigger. This one ended the Garret story line perfectly, IMO.
