Thievery Skill

Does anyone have more info on the Thievery Skill? I am curious as to what it does. Is it open locks, Disable Device, and Trapfinding all in one.

I am extremely intrigued by the mechanic and would appreciate if anyone can shed some light on this.

I think it also encompasses Sleight of Hand.

I wouldn't be surprised if Slight of Hand was included in Stealth instead. I would be happy either way.

Yeah, I bet trapfinding is for trained users only.
I could easily see SoH as either thievery or stealth but it's probably thievery IMO. One would have to use thievery to pick the pockets and stealth to get lost in the crowd.

I bet Sleight of Hand is split up - picking pockets is Thievery, but hiding a dagger in your sleeve is Stealth.

I think it covers everything you want to do when you're a crook - when those aren't already covered by another skill.

According to the DDXP rules doc, thievery covers 'disable traps, open locks, pick pockets, and perform other sleights of hand'
