For sure, I can see how a simpler advantage/disadvantage system works better for people who want less complexity. Nothing wrong with that! It's probably worth mentioning AD&D 2e is my ideal game, so PF2e from what I've read so far is closer to that then 5e.Ye, that is what kinda ruined it for us. We don’t like chasing down every last bonus and advantage to play a game. It was too much like work for us. Everyone is different, we just have a Willy milky freestyle type of play that didn’t mesh with PF2, or at least our attempt at it.
