Think positive for me!(pics in last post on 1st page)

Oh, I thought it was REALLY cripsy-crust pizza.

Seriously, that pot looks cool. So, the glaze has large crystals in it? That's what those shiny ciricles are around the side of pot? I think it's way cool. I like the color, too.

Huhh? I thought you were doing my new hip?

Kinda funny, you being the potter and all, that I'm gonna be the one part ceramic soon. :)

Oh, and btw, freakin' impressive work. Nice color. How long you going to be firing? I'm busy the next few days but I can lend a hand early next week.

Different kiln. These are done in the computer-controlled electric. It is like firing in a microwave with too many butons. :)

But feel free to drop out. :)

Very nice look on the glaze. Reminds me when you stick a CD in the mircowave and pop! Do the crystals effect the feel of the pottery?

Too bad you can't have those blazing infernos with an advanced, overgrown microwave...

I trust you're going to experiment with the thickness and composition of the glaze now. How about interrupted burnings, and/or multible burns?

Die Kluge- Thems the crystals, they are not easy to get and will hopefully be very flashy in the next few firings. :)

Aggemam- You are dead on. Maybe ad some molybdenum? multiple soaks? Probably not multpile firings though.

Suzi Yee- Welcome back! I have heard this form 2 people, I am gonna have to nuke a cd. :) Maybe leave on in a plate and fire it. :)
