I always used the free aol Cd's that kept sending to my apartment in college. I was less choosey with my destructive abilties then.

You'll be happy to know that in our massive liquidation of material goods before we left for India, my mom kept your vase for me. Once spring comes, it should find its way to the table.

Aggemam- You are dead on. Maybe ad some molybdenum? multiple soaks? Probably not multpile firings though.

Probably need a 100 or so degrees more in that case but perhaps there's a chemist on the boards that can help and give you advice on that.

I saw some ceramics a finn (Alto perhaps?) that had been fired in stages with different glazings added at each. You got an almost 3D look to it. That would look awesome if there was by chance some overlying crystals too.

But otherwise I love your test run, and can't wait till I see one that you are fully satisfied with (although that is hardly possible, you being fully satisfied by a pot, that is, there's always the "what if I ... ").
