I admit, I should have read the box closer.

I thought it was 13 classic style minis. I was thinking like orcs and goblins etc in AD&D fashion. Not 1 “large” mini. Collect all 13!

This is what I got. A classic Troll. and yeah it’s old school. No base. Looks and feels as cheap as a .99 cent toy from Dollar General and they charged $20 plus tax.

Just like the old days where you bought a bag of monsters from the store and used them as minis. A BAG OF MINIS for like $5.

$19 of nostalgia. Man am I bummed. Even more when I already have like 3 Troll minis.

Sigh.

Sorry to hear that :(

Quite crappy to be disappointed like that. Wizkids minis are i think like, 3 little and 1 big miniatures to a $20 blind box? 13 licensed minis in a box would be quite a get for $20 😅

There ARE "get a load of crappy random minis" online, you can look them up on amazon... but yeah, I'd be disappointed too. Kicking myself for reading what I wanted to read- "collect all 13!" I've totally made mistakes like that.

edit: can you take a pic with something for scale? I'm curious re: the size

Capitalism working as intended.
If it’s poor quality like this, hopefully it won’t sell. Low demand equals either vastly reduced price or cancelled product line. Hopefully the latter as that looks terrible.

I saw in the discount aisle of Walmart the D&D movie figures for $20.00. They are like the old GI Joe or Star Wars figures, but I guess are seen as 'collectibles' now.
