is there any word as to if they are going to re-release the FR books? I know I need them, but I don't want to buy them now if there will be "new" ones out very soon.

The EN World front page ( http://www.enworld.org/ ) is as up to date as any source I know and the WotC release schedule (which includes products through April 2004) is in the lower right side. Hope that helps!
