I think the success of the number two movie shows that there really needs to be a third "Breakin''" movie. (Though how they can top the name of the second is beyond me)

Sadly for me, all three of the top movies did a bit worse than expected.

Sadly, because I had invested in all three on HSX, and took a bath of them :)

I'm glad to see Jumper doing so well. I've yet to see it, but I'm sure it'll top Back to the Future as my favorite movie ever. ;)
I am not sure it is, a listed budget of 85 million, it will have to have staying power and most movies lately have fallen out of the top 10 in 3 weeks. By my guess looks like it will only be at the 50 mill mark at the end of February.

It's an average movie at best.

My wife had been a fan of the series for a long time. She held out no hope that the movie would be close to the book. According to her the movie does violence to the book almost as bad as happened with Children of Men. But where the movie Children of Men was decent, if not pretty good, Jumper is instead full of plot problems with a sheen of special effects eye candy.

I enjoyed myself watching the movie, but when I stopped to think after the movie was over I was struck at how dumb things were.
