10,000 BC does well but I did not find it all that good, it should drop a good bit down the chart with Doomsday and Horten Hears a Who opening this weekend (Oh, there is also Never Back Down...)

Wow, I thought 10000 BC was going to flop, because from the trailer I saw, it looked like a Rastafarian knock off of 300. (Just replace the Spartan King with a guy in dreadlocks and the wolf with a sabre tooth tiger)

But having just read that it was loosely inspired by REH, then I'm glad it didn't.

It still may, 105 to make and only 35 take, while good means only 14 2nd weekend, 6 3rd and then out, leaving a domestic take at around 55 million. The question is how long they will run it.

I wasn't expecting too much from this, other than that it be a spectacle on the big screen. Though I had planned on seeing it today, I might just hold off and re-evaluate, perhaps seeing it this Friday. If it is to be seen, does it definitely scream out for the big screen? I get the feeling that is the case.
