Thoughts on my 30th birthday

who wants to be lumped in with the 18 year olds? They have no clue. Its the 26-35 age group that can relaly party!!
I wouldn't mind being lumped in with certain 18 year olds. I could show them a more "experienced" party, IYKWIMAITYD.

Anyhoo, yeah, 30 -- no big deal. It's just a number, after all. There's a certain arbitrariness to how we count age, if you think about it. Getting bogged down by the numbers seems like a pretty futile exercise to me. I had no problem turning 30, and I don't expect to have any problem turning 40.

Or at least not any problems specifically associated with the age itself...

hm. At 8, I had unlimited energy, I didn't really worry about anything, and everything was so NEW.

At 17 I had sex too.

Rough call.

I'm still kinda stuck in those ages, though to be honest I would prefer my body to be those ages too. And my mind sometimes. I HATE thoughts about 'in my day', thinking things are too loud or too fast, etc. What the helle, I don't like feeling like I'm getting old!

Guess I need a hobby :)
