D&D 5E Thoughts on the D&D Starter Set (Spoilers!)

So, have you played the Lost Mine of Phandelver? Have you played it several times? How do you find it, and how do you think it's holding up, 14 months in?

Cheers!

Ran it and loved it. Actually, i think I like it better than Princes, the focus is tighter, it's shorter and simpler and is still a sandbox of sorts. My party met the dragon, didn't fight it, but convinced her to kill the cultists in town, which turned out pretty damn funny. I'd run it again, but don't know when i'd ever have the time or a new group. Probably never.

I pre-ordered my Starter Set last year, but I've yet to actually be able to run the darn thing!

By now, it feels like I'd have a hard time finding a group that isn't already very familiar with the adventure. I've played through (or at least partially through) Cragmaw's Hideout 3 different times when a DM has tried to throw a game together in a hurry. I think it's also been featured in a lot of podcasts, which are very popular in my group.

Maybe I'll try replacing the Cragmaw's Hideout intro and running the rest of the adventure for a group at some point. Or maybe I'll just have to wait a decade until it fades a little bit in people's memory. As it is, I feel like I missed the big blockbuster of the summer, and now nobody wants to watch it with me on VHS.
