It's just such a perfect example of a seemingly innocuous (if traditionally volatile) type of thread where some folks have no free will against the temptation to thread crap. The OP is so incredibly simple and straight-forward, and decidedly non-judgmental, that it has inspired the majority of respondents to, in kind, post in a no-frills manner. It will make the few crappers stand out like fanatics shouting their beliefs to an empty public square.

Facinating experiment, though entirely a coincidence, I assure you.
