Hope it can fly.

You know, that's the first thing I thought too. The stereotypical, improved invisible, flying, fireball throwing wizard.

By the way, since it would be considered to have 30 monster levels, do you think it would qualify for Epic level Feats?

Well, I'm having some difficulty making it spellcaster-proof as much as possible. While it does have a a SR of 29 (w00t) I'm sure there are some magic items which would help it even more ... must dig up DMG and find out.

EDIT

Actually, as a construct it is immune to many things. Spells like

Wail of the Banshee, Implosion (I think ... it says creature; does that apply to objects as well?), Harm (same as implosion; says creature), Bigbys (can be destroyed easily enough), Power Word: Kill (too many HP) ...

Ones that are 'normal' spells are: Meteor Swarm, Disintegrate, Incendiary Cloud, Fire Storm, etc ... standard high powered Evo spells.

It has a lot of immunities: no mindaffects, necro, sleep, paralysis, stunning, death effects, spell w/ fort saves (unless apply to objects) and no crits.

A construct is a corporeal creature - Implosion would work.

Harm wouldn't - it's Necromantic.

Now what I really want to know is.. What size and weight is the table that is going to be flipped over after the PC's spend a few rounds being critted with every attack?

By the time a party is fighting CR 22 creatures, it's probably a good bet that the party tanks will have armour of heavy fortification. Since it's essentially a one-trick pony, the nimblewright will be toast against them.

You sure about that? Constructs are specifically immune to fort-save spells that don't work on objects, is the point; and implosion doesn't. As far as I can tell, they're immune, creature or no.

Oops - yup, missed the fort save.

I got hung up on his "Harm - same reason as Implosion", 'cos Harm doesn't have a fort save :)

"Creatures With Class Levels" (page 14, MM) is not a variant rule, but a Core Rule. For one thing, its in a core book, and for another, unlike variant rules, the word Variant doesn't appear. For an example of a variant rule(s) see page 64 and 65 of the DMG. I count 6 that say "Variant." Unlike page 14 of the MM, thse are variants and listed as such.

A DM can advance any creature by charecter class. Its not a house rule or variant rule. Its a core rule.

We hope some, but not all! ;) I could imagine the platemail wearing two handed zweihander ubermenchen having a good chance of heavy fortification, being the focus of many attacks, but I've a feeling less grunt-y fighters with different focuses (duelist, swashbuckler, 2 weapon fighter, so forth) as well as rogues wouldn't be as fortunate. Just my opinion, though. Although essentially a one trick pony, it's still a dangerous one (except against spellcasters) which I'm sure it would give many headaches.

I'll finish statting him up and post it to see if there might've been anything I missed (How could you NOT give him a Cloak of Resistance +5?!) or did incorrectly.
