Seriously though, the game does scale well. It works best if people aren't so draconian about the rules.

I've played a fair amount - 15-30 hands of it or so. Its an OK lightweight game, plays and scales fairly well.

I'm also looking forward to using the Character Generation rules using Three Dragon Ante from Dragon some months ago in a campaign sometime soon.

346, pp 34-41, I believe. It's really quite neat to do, though the stats it actually generates are often somewhat boring or strangely arranged.

Great game, I gave it a 7 at boardgamegeek. I agree, it can drag with 50 gp, but if you start with 30 or 40, the game isn't nearly as long and still as fun.
