Throwing a person or other race

What are the rules for throwing or tossing a person or other race when during a combat?

I don't think you need special rules. Just treat them as over-sized improvised weapons. Range increment 10 ft., requires two hands. You'd have to grab them and pick them up first, which I guess would require a grapple check.

Do you want to throw them away, or throw them at somebody?

I'm pretty sure there's a Fling Ally feat somewhere. Can't remember which book, though.

Races of Stone had both Fling Enemy and Fling Ally as feats. But grappling and improvised weapon rules are usually good enough for my purposes.

I've been engaged in a debate about dwarf tossing on another board. The general consensus is, it is wrong, unless the dwarf is consenting. Now the whole debate has devolved into a heated debate as to whether the "follow-through" counts, if it is the dwarf moving of his own accord.
