Throwing a spear - Still full-round action?

Given the sentences on either side of the quote, one would have to assume that the full round action ONLY applies to weapons that are not meant to be thrown.

One would also have to assume a company as large as WotC would have competent editors.

Right, but given their track record, it's best to ask. I wouldn't have even thought it was a full-round action, if it weren't for the precedent set by 3.0.

So, an improvised light or one-handed melee weapon can be thrown as a standard action (meaning you can take a move action), while an improvised two-handed melee weapon can be thrown as a full-round action. All suffer a -4 improvised weapon penalty. All range increment is 10 feet.
