Throwing Master PrC?

Is there, or has there ever been, a Throwing Master prestige class? If so, where could I find it? And if it's OGL, would someone be willing to post it here? I am looking for a PrC for my F6/R5 and huckin' stuff just seems fun.

Check out the Master Thrower PrC in Complete Warrior. It's actually a kick ass prestige class. You just need Weapon Focus, Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot, which anyone focusing on throwing should take anyway.

The class has some neat tricks in it. Similar to the Exotic Weapon Master, you learn specific 'tricks' you can do with throwing weapons, like the palm throw which allows you to throw two knives/shuriken with each attack. Handy.

It also comes with Evasion, which if you already have it, gets bumped to Improved Evasion.

The prereq's don't quite make sense for the PrC because it was originally designed as a 10 level class with a slightly different concept (I forget where, but it's online on the creator's website). He's mentioned on these boards before that the prereq's should be different for the 5-level PrC. I think he said to drop PBS and Precise Shot, but maybe adding Weapon Focus or Quick Draw would make sense.

Except Weapon Focus is already one of the pre-reqs required and the class gives you Quick Draw at 1st level.

I'm not disputing your claims of the class's designer but perhaps you mis-remembered how he wanted it changed?

If your interested in taking levels as a psychic warrior, WotC has the Ballisteer somewhere on-line. Fell Shot is always a nice bonus as well.

You are thinking of the wrong class. This was said about Invisible Blade in the same book. It was designed as an "ultimate dagger master" 10 level prestige class, both throwing and melee. So, it had PBS(or rapid shot, can't remember which one) as a prereq. Wizards then turned it into a 5 level PrC who was a dagger melee specialist. They didn't remove the prereq though

I'm not sure if the same thing happened for master thrower, but I don't remember it's prereqs. I think they make sense though.

At www.giantitp.com there is halfling rock thrower prestige class. Pretty messed up, though.

Actually, it was both.

Sonofapreacher designed the class as a 10 lvl PrC. It got broken into 2 5 level PrC's Invisible Blade and Master Thrower.

The Invis Blade prereqs don't make sense, because they require PBS (or some such) but the master thrower ones seem to make sense.
