So you need a feat to throw sand in someone's eyes? that doesn't sound right... :\

Ranged touch attack 5 ft. increment (max 5 increments), if hits Fort 10 or blinded 2 rounds.
Obviously it works only at low levels.
Another way to rule this move (from Dragon IIRC) was: provided you have dust in hand (so you already used an appropriate kind of action to get it), make a ranged touch to an adjacent enemy (so no range increment) being at maximum one size greater than yours; if you hit, enemy makes a Ref save between 10 and 15 (or maybe 10 + your Cha modifier) or he is blinded 1d4 rounds; oh and yes, to be able to make this attack you must have used a Bluff check to hide the dust.
/me has written too many variables instead of a clear answer![]()
The Book of Roguish Might has a few options for dirty fighting. I recommend you take a look at it.Emirikol said:Is there a rule for throwing sand in your opponent's eyes?

Klaus said:That's pretty much Feinting in Combat, with a +2 circumstance bonus on your Bluff check. If you succeed, your enemy loses his Dex bonus to your next attack. No special rules needed.
I gave the bonus simply because that's an easy-to-use trick, and should be easier than an actual feint. If the character tries to do this *again* in a later round against the same opponent, I would not only withdraw the bonus, but actually give the foe a circumstance bonus on his opposed check to avoid being tricked (fool me once and all that...).Drowbane said:I would call throwing sand into the eyes of a foe just a feint, no bonus... it is afterall one of the "oldest tricks in the book".![]()
