Time of the Dragon Above

I’ve been working on a way to integrate the continent of Taladas (from the Time of the Dragon boxed set) into an Eberron campaign, and here is what I’ve come up with so far.

Geography

The continent of Sarlona doesn’t exist; the continent of Taladas replaces it. On the continent of Taladas the nation of Armach is replaced by the nation of Riedra; the Armach-nesti becomes the domain of the Inspired. The mountainous woodlands between the Minotaur League and Thenol become the nation of Adar. The Hulderfolk elves are limited to the forest of the League province of Okami, where they utilize hidden manifest zones to move freely between Eberron and the plane of Thelanis.

Races

The Goblinoid races, Gnomes and Halflings are native to both Khorvaire and Taladas. Orcs, Doppelgangers, Lycanthropes, and their derivatives are exclusive to Khorvaire. Dwarves and Elves migrated to both continents from their ancestral homelands. Humans are native to Taladas and first came to Khorvaire when the ancient empire of Aurim was devastated by a massive meteor strike, more humans arrived in the wake of the great wars between the Merchants League, Thenol, and Riedra.

Kalashtar are more common in Taladas than in Khorvaire, but are still rare outside of Adar. Warforged are unknown on the continent of Taladas. Minotaurs are native to Khorvaire, where they fought as mercenaries in the Galifar-Lhazaar War. At the conclusion of that conflict some of these Minotaurs traveled to Taladas to fight for the Merchants League in their struggles against Thenol and Riedra. Eventually the Minotaurs staged a coup detat, at which point the Merchants League became the Minotaur League.

Religion

Most of the faiths common in Khorvaire are native to Taladas, although not always in the same form. Chief among these are the three regional pantheons. The Champions of Hosk is comprised of Dol Arrah, Dol Dorn, and the Mockery. The Patrons of Aurim is comprised of Aureon, Boldrei, Olladra, Onatar, Kol Korran, the Keeper and the Shadow. The Wardens of Neron is comprised of Arawai, Balinor, the Devourer, and the Fury. There are clerics devoted to individual gods, or one of these pantheons as a whole.

The religious movement that created the Sovereign Host pantheon combined these regional pantheons and excised the darker deities. Most of the followers of the Sovereign Host movement followed Lhazaar to the continent of Khorvaire. The rest became the Glass Sailors of the Shining Lands, whose own faith evolved to recognize a single god, that they simply call the Sovereign. The Traveler was first followed by the Doppelgangers and Lycanthropes of Khorvaire, and is unknown on Taladas.

The Path of light is strong within the nation of Adar and where ever there are Kalashtar. The imported faith of the Blood of Vol found fertile ground in Taladas, with one of its clerics becoming the ruler of the nation of Thenol. The Cults of the Dragon Below are also represented on the continent of Taladas. The Silver Flame is little known on Taladas, but the Church has recently organized a missionary program to the ancient homeland of humanity.

The Elves of Taladas came to the continent before the founding of the Undying Court. Most of the Elves devoted to a faith follow gods of the regional pantheons, with two exceptions. The Hulderfolk eschew religion of any kind, and the Cha’asii of Neron have the oldest and strongest Druidic tradition in all of Taladas, the vast majority being of the Gatekeeper sect.
