Titanspawn plots

Hey Sanackranib, I'm in the same boat as Nightfall. I requested that my players join the board so they can read my n'er updated Story Hour. And while I have ultimate amounts of faith in them, no need to even tempt them with the plot. =)

Once I get power back at my house (North Carolina's killer ice storm), I'll send out the synopsis to you.

Just think of this: 'We lowly titanspawn could never attain the power to resurrect our fallen lord/lady. But what if we could set a plan in motion to revive one of her/his most powerful servants from the time of the Divine War...'

I LIKE the sound of THAT!:D

One of the things I think is important to note is that the gods of today are not the gods of yesteryear. They are much more powerful and no longer walk the earth as they once did. I doubt that even the restroed titans would have the power to overthrow them. Battle them? Sure. But defeat? Depower? Make for some great role playing but Divine & Defeated kinda paved the way for the gods to be more than just stat hoarders, much like Book of the Righteous.

I've been toying with a few ideas involving the mind flayers and their hunt for ancient psionic technology using the orcs as cover but haven't gotten too far into it as I'm also running the Serpent series.

Its only been 150 years. For a God, thats almost no time atall. They may well be powerful, but I think the Titans would still be a match for them.

I gotta agree with Fevil here, 150 years just isn't that long. Heck there were elves and Dwarves who are still alive today who were THERE when it all happened. and any human over age 70-80 could have heard stories about it from a parent or grandparent who witnessed the events as well.;)

I prefer to leave such fights as speculation than actual combat situations. Mostly because I'm working from the POV that Gods, while active in Ghelspad, don't neccessarily appear on demand. ;)
