To Catch a Crimelord, or Down the Rabbit Hole (garyh judging)

Georg moves around, burning more of the corpses to prevent further corruption and decay, but careful to spare the village. Keep close everyone, we need to rest quickly and then move on nodding at Kruk's suggestion.

[sblock=OOC] If we can use Lily/Lith healing and stay close to her, Raiyek can benefit from all the spent healing surges. Georg can even spend one for the 3hp he has just to give Raiyek the extra 1d6. Oni?

Lily studied the others through narrowed eyes.

Hmmm....

[sblock=ooc]

Ok time to juggle some surges! :)

Before the rest use my remaining Healing Spirit on Kruk heal can heal a surge+1 and heal Raiyek for (1d6+1=2). :erm:

Short rest.

Healing Spirit on Georg and heal Raiyek for (1d6+1=3).

Lily will give up a surge to Healing Spirit and heal Raiyek for (1d6+1=7).

Second short rest.

So 12 total unless people want to volunteer more time/surges, but I think (hope) we should be ok for one more fight.

[sblock=question]

By the way, the village we've come out in, is it the village we started at or some random village?

[/sblock]

[sblock=villiage]
This one is a random villiage along the way. The barbarian villiage is near the standing stones, where the ritual is allegedly happening[/sblock]

Kruk has 8 surges left? He'd be glad to give some up
[/sblock]

"My thanks, Lily. That feels much better, though I hope we don't need to fight any more of these monsters before we find the high priest, else I may not have much strength to help stop him."
[sblock=OOC]That should be pretty good. If I burn two surges of my own that gets me to 31/39 with 4 surges left.

I won't turn down more voluntary surge-sharing, though we probably shouldn't take too long sorting ourselves out before we go stop the evil cultists ;)[/sblock]

While he can't "give the surges to Raiyek" one more short rest will let Lily use her healing on Kruk twice (even though he's at full HP) to grant Raiyek the 1d6+x extra hp from it. I don't have time for the big update today. Tomorrow and Tuesday might be out, but Wednesday at the latest I'll update[/sblock]

Lily nods in understanding at Kruk's offer. Working her magic again she uses his sacrifice to activate the spell.

When it was done, and Lith dismissed she moved closer to Raiyek and leaned in speaking in a low voice.

So...what are we going to do with her? She nodded her head slightly in the direction of the injured woman.

[sblock=ooc]

Together both castings heal Raiyek for (2d6+2=10)

[/sblock]

"I shall watch over her for now. Once you deal with the enemy send back some of those other humans to take her in" Grim replies "I'll remain here in case any more come back, she'd just slow you down. I'll catch up if I can" Grim says

[sblock=ooc]
As mentioned Tinwe's disappeared for too long so Grim's out. I'll adjust the final encounter so the xp might drop a bit, but shouldn't be too much. [/sblock]

As the group is discussing their options and recovering their strength, a sudden blast of light is visible to the south, bright enough to momentarily illuminate the area. As quickly as it appeared, it is gone, but it came from the direction of the sacred stones. Whatever is happening there is happening soon. There's little time!

[sblock=OOC]That puts Raiyek to full. Thanks guys :)[/sblock]
The blast of light catches Raiyek's eye, bringing a sense of urgency to the matter. "Grim has the situation here under control; we need to put a stop to the priest's madness!"
