He launches a desperate attack against the hulking zombie, but it's hide proves too thick and his strike too innacurate to do any real damage.

[sblock=OOC]Didn't Lily attack Brutus? Either way Havastav is dead - if Lily didn't attack him, whoever hits him next (probably Kruk) kills him.

I think I'll be fine with Brutus. I still have healing flood's minor-action healing if things get bad, and Kruk's mark is probably better vs. Kadaj - if he tries to shift away to make a ranged attack Kruk can smack him, whereas I can't stop him from shifting. Plus zombies don't like radiant ;)

Hoping that Kruk's attack and menace distract the zombie, Georg ducks his head with his staff up in a guard and moves around Brutus. He heads towards Kadaj and swings his staff in an arc. A wave of thunder sweeps over the dark magic user trying to force him into the arms of his summoned creature. Darkness will not triumph!

Lily moves Lilth and the spirit slashes at the large zombie, easily damaging it.

Darkness spreads throughout his mind, but then disappears as he hears the friendly sound of Lily's voice. Kruk responded by opening his eyes, blurred vision at first, but then becomes better. The one responsible for his temporary visit to the darkness is standing over him. Kruk stands up and with a mighty overhand chop of his axe, slashes the shade from head to toe in twain, the shade dissipates into nothingness, swords clattering uselessly to the ground.

Carolina steps to the side and throws her dagger across the battlefield in an attempt to try and disrupt the ritual, but her shot goes wide.

The blast sends Kadaj dangerously close to the flames, but at the last moment he stops himself from entering the flames, but still ends up on his back.

Kadaj stands up, brushes himself off and looks at Georg. "So the dwarves still have some fight in them. Good. Now don't go anywhere" he declares, hurling a bolt of energy at Georg that slams into him, again rooting him to the ground.

Georg swoons a bit and seems weakened. Stay back if you can, everyone! He turns to the dark one Your evil makes me sick, I don't want to get any closer to you! he slams his staff into the ground sending another rippling wave of arcane thunder ripples towards Kadaj but in his rage he misses wildly.

[sblock=OOC] It would be nice if you melee combatants at least delay, but something seems to be preventing Georg's healing when he is close to Kadaj. Will retcon to scorching burst if an ally moves into my attack burst.

[sblock=OOC]That aura is going to be trouble ... do we know how big it is? I'm not sure whether it would be better to stay back and use ranged attacks, or for the meleers to close and just try to beat him down before he can drop anyone.

Kruk has to use comeback strike this round against a foe that has a lower AC in order to get more hp before he faces the boss.

Kruk sees the zombie stagger a bit after Raiyek's last attack, which gives him the strength and resolve to deliver another massive blow. Moving into a more advantagous position, Kruk swings with all of his might at the zombie. His axes slices through zombie flesh and bone with terrible force.
