Is regular drinking of milk enough? For a while, I took some vitamin c+d + some minerals for Covid. (Read somewhere that vitamin D improved outcomes, then found a supplement that had D on top of standard flu prevention)
Based on this:
A high level of vitamin D was defined as greater than 30 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL) and a low level was less than that number. A total of 34% of participants had low levels of vitamin D and 5% were taking vitamin D supplements.
My guess is just milk is not going to hit the therapeutic level needed to see the results they saw in their study. Even increasing consumption of other dairy probably won’t hit the numbers they think were necessary to be medically effective.

Won’t hurt, though.

Now I am curious so...Google says....yeah, I take 5000 IU a day.

I take a daily vitamin D supplement because I have been determined to be deficient…and I’m a dairy FIEND. I consume one or more servings daily of milk, cheese, or yogurt on average.
