Today I learned that there's a place called Crab Orchard, in Kentucky. I know there have been multiple different evolutions into crabs, but TREES?

So I quit playing and tried to find the song that introduced me to him, and I found it after 3-4 other songs of his:

“Voices” eventually got used for Miami Vice.

HOWEVER, in those few false starts, I discovered that this WASN’T the first song of his I knew.

Before “Voices”, I had heard “Since You’ve Been Gone”:

BUT I’d only heard the Rainbow version:

One other thing I learned was that Russ had been in a band called Argent. I had heard OF Argent, but I wasn’t certain I’d heard anything BY Argent. I needed to do some investigating…

Welp, I found out this oldie but a goodie is by Argent:

I'm pretty sure that was the only song by Argent that I have ever heard and remembered the name of the band. Here's a documentary about them.

I saw part of the video for "Voices" back in the 1980s and I thought the song was great, but I did not know the artist or the album. I have sought to find out for almost 40 years. And thanks to this post, today I learned. Thanks, @Dannyalcatraz !
