Doesn't look that way so far.Vigwyn the Unruly said:And today is that day. Woot-woot!

Agreed. It was the defense that couldn't come up big this time around. His offense put up 27 points and had a late lead. And his receivers dropped some wide open passes.GlassJaw said:Well, Brady is still the man, and it certainly wasn't his fault the Pats lost.
The amazing thing is that the Colts could have had more points early on if it wasn't for some excellent passes defended in the secondary covering Wayne and Harrison. And the biggest credit to Brady is that even Peyton said that 4 point lead never felt safe against Brady. Not with a minute left and 2 time outs.GlassJaw said:As a Pats fan, it was extremely frustrating to watch. At no other time during this season do I remember the Pats giving up 3 TD's in a row on successive drives. Overall, the Pats' DB's, especially Samuel and Hobbs, played pretty well. But their linebacker coverage was horrible. The Colts were racking up 8-12 per play on short passes during those drives and Pats had no answer.

The Pats have 2 first-round picks this year.![]()
