Well, Brady is still the man, and it certainly wasn't his fault the Pats lost.
The Pats defense didn't have an answer for Manning the second half. Bottom line. Whatever the reason was - fatigue, heat in the dome, illness, all of the above - the Colts saw a weakness and exploited.
As a Pats fan, it was extremely frustrating to watch. At no other time during this season do I remember the Pats giving up 3 TD's in a row on successive drives. Overall, the Pats' DB's, especially Samuel and Hobbs, played pretty well. But their linebacker coverage was horrible. The Colts were racking up 8-12 per play on short passes during those drives and Pats had no answer.

Agreed. It was the defense that couldn't come up big this time around. His offense put up 27 points and had a late lead. And his receivers dropped some wide open passes.GlassJaw said:

Just an excellent game and an instant classic. It will be interesting to see how the Pats reload for the coming season as many of their stalwarts are getting old and really slowing down, especially the linebackers.
Final note - I think having Harrison out for the game really hurt in the second half. He's an enforcer back there and I think may have been the difference on a few of those drives. Maybe forcing a FG instead of the TDs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them trade them for multiple later round picks. The draft looks iffy this year, and given their history of keeping payroll low and letting players go when they get expensive, they may not feel its worth dropping first-round-pick bucks on a single player.
