Tome of Horrors - The Art (oh the horrors!)

I'm sure they would have called them Yugoloths if they were allowed to.

WotC probably has some neat 'loth ideas up there sleeves for the Fiend Folio next year...

You don't have to wait. Yugoloth's are in the MotP and MMII.

Is it me, or did you just change your avatar?

However, it is a pretty monumental resource, some bad selections to update not withstanding (carbunkles and giant (space) hamsters come to mind.)

:(

now... I KNOW you didn't just diss the hamsters.

Because then I'd have to loathe you.

So tell me you like the hamsters. Please?

Yeah - so I DO look thinner? Thanks for noticing.

And thanks to Mr. Pozas and Fiery Dragon for letting me continue to use the image without asking permission. Buy their counters and excellent adventures NOW.

edit: or maybe you were refering to My community supporter tagline... I may need to consider changing that at some point in the future -- the secondary meaning was something I only realized later...

just to let you know, i had nothing to do with the art (good or not-so-good) in the book. :D so, minor complaints already aside, what did you think of the content of the book?

and yeah, i agree with darkness, write a review (we could always use the attention - and feedback, since it looks like ToH2 is strongly being considered...)

You might as well commence a'loathin', as space hamsters were one of the stupidest ideas ever to plague D&D AFAIAC, right next to Kender. :)

No way! Giant space hamsters were awesome, but I'll agree with you on kender.

I'd say that a close second on the lame-o-meter might be the protein polymorph.

By the way, psion- nice avatar!

It's a great book content wise. The art on the Demons is bad, save for orcus. Why they did such a comic style on abyssal creatures is strange, they did a much better job on the devils. As for Daemons, that's what they are. They called them Daemons becuase that's what they were before the idiocy of 2nd edition was inflicted upon us all. And this book was about 1e feel, not 2e fear of zealot mothers. So gimme more Daemons!

My favorite monster book. Much(x1000) better than the MM2.
