I had grand plans to put aside money every month and then have a bundle to make the trip on, but my work situation went to hell, got laid off, and other life-interupting unpleasentness.

So, I'm here ... surfing the boards, being rather bitter.

Don't feel bad Ash. Same thing happened to me. Getting laid off is a bitch. Though it frees up a lot of time for other stuff (gaming for example ), it still sucks.

You ain't kidding. If I didn't have a family to support, I might actually be able to enjoy a little of it. As it is, every day this year has been an stress-filled rollercoaster. Watching everything you've spent your life building up fall to pieces can do that to you. Ah well, at least I have players to torture.
