-34 I'm too busy drinking "martimmys."

*sniffle* Timmy. :(

...

I had grand plans to put aside money every month and then have a bundle to make the trip on, but my work situation went to hell, got laid off, and other life-interupting unpleasentness.

So, I'm here ... surfing the boards, being rather bitter. :D

-45. It never moves. I am not going to spend part of August in the upper mid-west. [rant]It would be nice to see it move around. Something like, pick 4 cities in different parts of the country and let it rotate between those 4. (Sorry to those of you in different parts of the world.)[/rant]

-46. Lost eye in dice accident at last year's con.

-47. Powerful gnome lobby convinced me to boycott until facility includes lower chairs and tables.

-48. Not going? I thought you said not leaving GenCon.

My wife is 8.95 months pregnant.

If I went I would have to put an "ex" in front of her name and we just bought new mailing labels. So who wants to throw away $5.95???

What's this, -50?

-50. Pants are, in fact, a requirement.
-51. The ability to hit on various booth-girls not worth admission price.
-52. No 'Toss Warwick Davis!' booth...yet.
-53. No 'Stab Bruce Cordell!' booth...yet.

Don't feel bad Ash. Same thing happened to me. Getting laid off is a bitch. Though it frees up a lot of time for other stuff (gaming for example :D), it still sucks.

You ain't kidding. If I didn't have a family to support, I might actually be able to enjoy a little of it. As it is, every day this year has been an stress-filled rollercoaster. Watching everything you've spent your life building up fall to pieces can do that to you. Ah well, at least I have players to torture. :P
