Top 10 Women in......

Hi, I was wondering peoples thoughts on the all the "Top 10 women in..." list appearing on YouTube and if you find them ALL offensive or just some.

In particular, I would appreciate your opinion on the one I just created and posted: I can't link it (haven't posted enough) but it is in 'Macs Corner' by 'Little Mac' on Youtube.


My intent was to present a top ten list that was both appealing to women and promoted a less sexist viewpoint of women in gaming....I would like to know if you think I succeeded or not. I am attempting to create a gaming channel that appeals to a variety of people, but is also a place where anyone can come and feel welcome and valued--Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Your deductive skills are astounding as you've thwarted my evil plan to *spam* forums one at a time by registering for and hand writing everything I have to say. Automated systems are for fools.....true evil genius lies in spamming the Internet with 1-2 post every couple days asking for feedback and attempting to improve oneself as a content creator.

Now that you've caught me, I suppose I can do nothing more than humbly ask you to check out my video and provide honest feedback....thanks!

I am really curious as to why you have that blanket approach. While I agree more needs to be done to reduce sexist behavior; I don't think flat out ignoring gender differences is appropriate, either. We all seem to forget that when it comes to coupling women are FAR more picky and judgemental about men, as proven through many psychology and social studies. It's not sexism to state that as there is nothing wrong with stereotyping....the issue occurs when we become unable to understand and identify exceptions to stereotypes.

Haha, it's ok....I was just having some fun responding to you. Thanks for the welcome! Now that you see I am a real person who really is just trying to get creative feedback if you could at least check out the site and give some I would appreciate it!

Okay I finally decided to take a look and generally I liked what you achieved.

I usually find these list to be mindnumbing and 9 times out of 10 entirely about shots of boobs and butts, however your intonation and script kept things lively enough to keep from straying (I got as far as Samus before coming back here). I do think you tried too hard to emphasise that you were deliberately not judging the characters based on boobs, but I do like that you were explicitly aware of this and still happy to have fun with it (like Mirandas butt)

I also think the 'twist' at the end was fun - corny yet sincere - good work
