Top 20 monster minis wish list

This is likely a longshot, but how about more minis based on other cultures? Minis of other ethnicities and backgrounds. I like the "fantasy-european" (and the "fantasy-asian") figures and want more, but I could do with some figures to represent other cultures and character concepts too.

There's actually been a Large Monstrous Spider in the sets almost from the beginning.

Actually I meant a HUGE spider. I have all the minis so far (cept for angelfire) I just want a spider I can put down in front of my players and creep them out.

Yeah, that'd definitely be cool. I just hope that when they do it, they really do a detailed sculpt. I wanna worry about Shelobian drool on my battlemat, you know?

Try your local pet store. Some sell tarantulas. Of course he may not be cooperative when waiting for his initiative.

GELATINOUS CUBE

I'll agree with that, but it is a b*tch to make one.

I scratch built a couple of them. I don't have the instructions/directions for making one handy, but I believe I posted one here in the minis forum at some point.

Beyond mine, IIRC Sean Reynolds has posted his procedure for making them at his site.

Thanks,
Rich

Alright, Home from work so now I can take the time to do a top 20

1) Rust Monster
2) Gelatinous Cube
3) Stirge
4) Warhorse (light or Heavy, barded or unbarded, just offset it a bit so I can stand the fig riding it on the same base)
5) Remorhaz
6) Huge elemental (any)
7) Huge Dragon (finish the set, make the chromatics uncommon and the metalics rare)
8) Any animal or dire animal (nice to have for more normal woodland encounters)
9) Any large or medium vermin (quality dungeon cannon fodder)
10) Complete the demons & devils (base MM at the very least)
11) Roper
12) Mimic (classic treasure chest)
13) Trapper / Lurker above
14) Pack Mule (hey what low level party doesn't have one)
15) Sphinx
16) Hippogriff
17) Tarrasque (hey if they can do a separate release ATAT why not)
18) Hydra (maybe a 6 and a 12 head)
19) Nightmare
20) Frost Worm

I'm sure there's plenty more but this would be a great start

"4) Warhorse (light or Heavy, barded or unbarded, just offset it a bit so I can stand the fig riding it on the same base)"

Yea, my top choice for sure would be horses. So needed for RPG use. Kind of cool if they had a hollow middle so you could jam a figure inside so it looked like it was mounted. All right, that is out there. Enough space to set a character figure beside the horse for sure, though.
The ramifications of riding horses might be too much for the actual miniatures game, perhaps. No need to have rules for riding there, though (I’m just guessing there aren’t any – I don’t play).

After that, I concur with the Hippogriff as well. And Hags.
Everything beginning with “H”, evidently.

I put huge spiders in the same category as the t-rex: stuff I can get from a dollar store. The gelatinous cube is pretty easy to simulate as well, with those transparent plastic boxes that dice come in.

And I just don't grock the requests for a mimic. It's a shapeshifter; it can look like anything. Having a mini for it kinda defies the purpose.

Here's the top 20 list of completely new monster figures I'd like to see. Some are categories of figures, so I cheated a little. :)

Shadow
Babau
Ice Devil
Thoqqua
Githyanki Blackguard
Formian Myrmarch
Spirit Naga
Mohrg
Lizardfolk Warrior
Dire Tiger
Uncommon Winter Wolf (would make a good dire wolf substitute)
Uncommon Large Vermin
Common Medium & Small Vermin
Yugoloths
Bone Naga (MM2)
Chain Golem (MM2)
Gibberling (FR)
Quaggoth (FR)
Giant Cockroach (FR)
Vine Horror (FF)

Here's a few that have already been done, and I'd like to see again:
Kuo-Toa (better sculpt)
Umber Hulk (I'd rather not pay $30-$40 for a single plastic figure)
Displacer Beast (Uncommon, please)
Uncommon Dire Wolf

Here's the Huge figures I'd like to see:

Aboleth
Frost Worm
Remorhaz
Huge Elementals
Mountain Troll (MM3)
Nalfeshnee
Goristro
Ghour Demon
Huge Black, Blue, Green, White dragons

Finally, it's a bit of a threadjack, but here's my guesses for the next set, Underdark:

Ankheg
Cave Troll
Phaerlin Giant
Sword Spider
Black Pudding
Bodak
Xorn
Mind Flayer Sorcerer
Darkmantle
Yochlol
Gibberling
Quaggoth
Cloaker
Svirfneblin
Derro
Duergar
Urdunnir
Dwarf cleric
Gloaming
Phaerlock
Kuo-Toa Whip
Vermin Keeper
Drow Judicator or Arachnomancer
1-2 other Drow

Well, black pudding's are huge (at least, they start out huge), so they're out. The rest is good stuff.

I really would love to see a deepspawn. Who do I have to bribe?
