moritheil First Post Sep 23, 2006 #2 Per RAW, touch attacks that are melee attacks still take STR penalties. That always annoyed me when building wizards - but look on the bright side! Things like Arcane Strike should work with melee touch attacks.

(Strength 3 gives a -4 penalty). Yes, most casters with low strength should either avoid spells that require melee touch attacks, or use the Spectral Hand spell.
