Hi lo

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee TLC

What not to wear is my favorite, try not to miss it,
then Trading Spaces, although without Vern I'm starting to prefer those organizing shows.

Vern was still on as late as last season( Season 4) where he did one episode. So far this season wich just started, he hasn't shown up, but they still list him on the shows sight(but they do not list the new carpenter Farve(sp?)). Hopefully Vern is just busy with something else, and will come back to the show as a regular soon.

Oh yikes. The TLC guilty pleasure thread. Yeah, Trading Spaces is one. And although I hate to admit, I find What Not To Wear enjoyable as well. It's all about the personalities. I wouldn't care so much about the premises, but I find the people involved fun.
 Yep, pretty much how I feel.

Though I don't watch "Trading Spaces" all that much compared to "While You Were Out", which I find far superior. "What Not to Wear" and "Clean Sweep" round out my top 4 TLC shows (While You Were Out and What Not to Wear getting watched the most, Trading Spaces and Clean Sweep only every now and then).

I have to admit that I watch Trading Spaces, but I actually prefer the BBC version Changing Rooms. Ty is hilarious, though. I liked Ground Force when Alan was on it. Then again, I have a new house with a dirt backyard, and these shows have been inspirational for the "what the * do I do with this- I'm not an adult- Oh wait I am!!" feeling.

Oh, and Junk Yard Wars used to be one of my favorites too, but I haven't watched it as much sinced they changed anouncers.

American Chopper is my favorite TV show (Along with HNiC), though to be honest, I'm growing alittle weary of the shows current obsession with fatass do-nothing Mikey.

Here is the American Chopper drinking game that we play:)

1. When someone days "Awesome," drink.
2. When someone says "Fabrication," drink (not "Fabricate". if you use Fabricate you will be hosed 20 mins into the show).
3. In the unlikely event somone on the show should have the word "FAAAAAABulous" come out of their mouths, EVERYONE finishes their drink immediately.

4. When Big Paul calls Paul Junior "stupid," drink.
5. If Paul Junior comes back with any implication that Paul Senior is mentally unhinged, drink again.

6. Drink whenever Mikey is shown.
7. Drink two if Mikey does something stupid.
8. Drink Three if Paul Sr. OR Junior hits Mikey in any way.

9. Drink when Big Paul is shown riding his chopper in a "pensive mood."
10. Drink two if he is doing a philosophical vioceover during the shot.
11. Drink three whenever Big Paul is shown slumming it by riding his Harley Davidson.
12. Drink four if he's riding his HD and talking about how relaxing it is.

On road trip, drink every time ANYONE mentions:
13. how nice it is to get away.
14. how hard it is to be on the road.
15. how the trip is a great way to catch up on sleep.

16. When Cody is shown working on a bike, drink.
17. Drink Two when Big Paul gives Cody a fatherly hug and/or advice.
18. Drink Two Paul Jr. acknowledges Cody's existence in any way.

19. If a fireman is shown with the "Fire bike", drink.
20. If he's got the Dalmatian with him, drink two.
21. If there is ALSO an actual fire truck shown in the background, finish your drink.

22. Whenever Paul Jr. yells at Big Paul about how he never does any work. Drink.
23. When Big Paul comes back with something about "I could come out of retirement and work circles around you," drink yet again.

24. Drink everytime an object gets thrown.

25. Drink whenever someone slams a door.
26. Drink Three if the person slamming the door is Vinnie.

27. Drink when Paul Jr. Test rides a new chopper.
28. Drink two if the voiceover is Paul Jr. talking about how special the bike is.

29. Drink whenever someone punches that electronic boxing dummy.

30. Drink if someone gets a new tattoo

31. Drink if Paul Senior mentions his shoe size.

32. If Paul Senior uses the word "Idear", drink.

American Chopper is shot about 15 minutes from where I grew up. It's neat to be watching TV and see places in the background that I know from my childhood. I'm also seeing Orange County Choppers clothing all over in central Virginia where I live now, and that's a bit weird too.

I'll have to use your drinking game, but add a few rules:
Drink if Rich recognizes a location
Drink 2 if Rich has been to a location
Finish your drink if Rich knows someone who appears on the show (yes, it has happened twice)
