[Trailer] Dawn of The Dead

judging by the teaser alone, I think it looks like total crap. Their most serious crime is the running zombies bit. Zombies do not run! Zombies are supposed to be slow and shuffle around, there supposed to be freaken dead not pumped up on sugar and caffiene. I do not recall a running zombie in the remake of Night of the Living Dead, and while that movie was not oustanding, it wasn't utter garbage either. I think they should scrap any footage with that silliness and shoot it again. That or scrap the whole thing, digitally remaster the origonal, and rerelease that into theaters instead. Because I predict that the remake, in its current state, is going to hold together about as well a zombie skull does when hit by a .45

From the trailer: 'Tom Savini: Los Angeles County Sheriff' You've got to love that. :p
Curse you, gregweller! :D Now that you've pointed that out I may have to see this piece of garbage.

At least I'll be able to restrain myself until I can rent it....which should be, what? A week after it's in theaters?

They have moved to ghouls, not zombies.

If I remember the first Dawn of the Dead they were two groups in the Mall, the cleaning crew and some kids that broke in.

Why is everything so clean in new movies? I mean, the party of soon-to-become-zombie-food gets the news by standing in a dark room with no furniture and a dozen tv-sets? It looks like the laboratory cleaning crew just left.

...

And why o why do you need more than one screen?

um, I'm pretty sure from the quick glance that they are in a store... Multiple TVs all showing the same thing, and an odd assortment of individuals all standing? combine that with the scene in a parking garage, and it looks like the main characters are all in a mall when it goes down.

Well you don't need more than one screen, but since they seem to be in a mall it makes sense as the electronics store would likely have a lot of tv's all tuned to the same thing, like pretty much every electronics store I've ever been in.

fast moving thread...
