Are your spells not penetrating your opponents defenses like they used to? Ask your Archmage if Ciadris is right for you. Ciadris has been proven to increase the power of your staff, wand and even orb. In certain cases Ciadris can cause certain side effects. In studies dry mouth, skin irritation and localized inflammation were most common. If you experience continuous critical strikes for more than four hours, call your Archmage immediately as it may be a sign of a more serious problem.

So where do I go to nominate this post for an Ennie? :)

I want my orb.... on a steek!

Orbs will probably range in size from about as big as your fist to Crystal ball size.

It's not hard to take a sphere and design a handle for it. Basically its a gem fitting for a ring in a bigger porportion with a handle. Yes... it would look like a microphone.... but would work very well.

And I'm sure the innuendos will fly for years to come....

Come to think of it, I'd probably replace "orb" with "lens" or even "mirror" since those are more appropriate and portable/practical forms.

I almost suspect that orbs will be magicly hardened and slightly 'magnetic', rolling to the caster' feet if dropped.

I'd prefer if they were as fragile as glass and rolled like the ball of a quad-caffinated hamster, but that is just me.

Wizard: Good news guys! I just went shopping with that loot from our last haul and I managed to buy an Orb +10.

Rogue: Holy %$*! How did you manage to buy that for only what we got from that haul?

Wizard: Well... There is a bit of a problem with it...

Paladin: It had better not be some cursed evil artifact or you'll feel the sting of my...

Wizard: No no no! Nothing like that. It's just that the orb is 3 meters across. It weighs about 20 tons...

Rogue: Buh.. What? How are you planing on using that?

Wizard: More good news! With the money I saved I was able to spend the rest of my loot on a team of draft horses and a giant wagon.

Fighter: You'd better not think I'm cleaning up after those horses....
