Traps and Wards (Erekose 13 Judging) [Concluding]

Everyone gets together to pull loose the railing, and it gives way beneath the joint assault. Looking towards the source of the noise, Samarik can see a pair of mechanical hounds (some sort of homonculus, perhaps) hanging back toward the far corner of the house, eyeing the party warilly and giving their tinny version of an alarm bark.

Samarik perches on the wall and glances warily at the mechanical creatures. "Guardian, it looks as though you and I will be able to aid the group sooner than I thought; It seems that there is some type of mechanical creautre inside the grounds." After securing the rope to the wall, he studies the surroundings,(20!) trying to see if there is a lever or some type of switch by the gate, and if the dogs have any obvious weaknesses.


OOC: it might be a good idea to copy the links to our characters from the character thread into the top of the page of whatever.

Fritz can be seen in the rear with an excited/nervous expression.

ooc: hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday. I just switched ISPs so my net is down at home. The net effect being that my posting will be done at school/work for a little while and therefore will be done at a less common pace. It should not be a big deal.

"I will likely need to climb this rope to assist you then. I do hope the weight of my components doesn't prove to be to much for the rope." Guardian stands by the rope, waiting for Samarik's word.

"Let's go ahead into the compound then, I am right behind you Samarik."

Rethlin queue's up on the rope to climb up (and over) right after Samarik.

Rethlin fails to make progress up the wall on his first attempt

Guardian waits until there is room for him to climb up the wall and join Samarik. He calls up to Samarik, "Shall I just climb up there and then we jump down? Or do you want to try and climb down the interior side?"
