Traps and Wards (Erekose 13 Judging) [Concluding]

ooc: I'm more or less waiting for someone to say "I open the door" or other similar words of action. Perhaps to save time, everone could roll and post their next initiative along with their next post? We should need it soon....

Looking in the entry, the place looks and feels very empty. The place is sparsely furnished and what furniture there is covered by drop cloths.

(You are entering the house. Anyone who has not yet done so, please roll initiative. Also, unless you post more information about marching order I will assign starting positions at random. The entry hall isn't wide enough for two to fight abreast.)

OOC: I posted this morning, but do not see it here. So here is the post again, quick and dirty:

"May the eternal Flame protect you Samarik" Rethlin comments to no one in particular. "Perhaps he is inside, we should go look for him". Rethlin double-checks his morning star and shield, then gets in line behind Guardian.

Initiative is 7.

Guardian glances at Gimble and asks, "Do you want me to enter first? Or would you prefer to check the entryway for traps first?"

ooc: Per Animus's post regarding availability, Gimble will need to be NPC'd for the time being.

ic: Gimble quickly checks the entryway for traps, then lets Guardian and Rethlin past in case of more mobile dangers. He stays in the third position.

Guardian looks around the entryway, and calls back to his companions, "Where is the most likely location of our objective? The basement seems like it would be a solid and secure location for a vault, but it may not be located there simply because that would be an obvious choice. If that is the case, it could be anywhere."
