It's true, I just came for the transforming robots.

However, I do think it would be theoretically possible to make a great Transformers movie with little to no fighting taking place on screen.

I wish they would actually focus on the Transfomers and less on the humans involved with the Transfomers. The last two movies were really "#MURICA, featuring the Transformers".

That said, enjoyed the first movie (the first time Prime appears, transforms and introduces himself... DEM FEELS), hated the 2nd movie, and accepted the third as "a decent action movie also ft. the Transformers."

My only gripe is that humanity can fight against the Decepticons and win, thereby negating the need to even involve the Autobots.

What surprises me is that no one thought it would be fun to build CGI models of the original TFs, animate them to match the original cartoons, and then keep the original audio.

Have you seen the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron video game? Better plot and graphics than the movies.
