Since you mention it, I've always wanted to get a look at the random syllable generator that show uses to generate it's guests' names. Maybe if someone is willing to subject themselves to many hours viewing of the show, it can be backward-engineered. Any takers?

Yes. Do remember, at one point, we were all named *Grunt*. New names have to come from somewhere. I imagine that there's a sort of Darwinian process - good names get used many times, lousy ones only the once.
