Trailer Tron: Ares | Flynn Lives

I hate that it has come to this but based on what I have been hearing I think I am going to pass on seeing it in theatre. I think if it sounded like it was more firmly a proper sequel to Legacy rather than just, idk, a "bequel" , I would have wanted to go, even it was still not the greatest.

What is a bequel?

Small spoiler...

but the spoiler didn't show up. Not really a big spoiler, but enough that I'm not sure your comment fits...but it might?

I just saw it. I was disappointed that it wasn't really a sequel to Tron: Legacy, but for what it was, I liked it. Not as much as Legacy (which I think is tragically underrated), but I did like it. And I liked the implied links to Legacy and the fact that the strengthened that link explicitly in the end.

Greetings programs! Saw it today. Entertaining but a bit flat; 5/10.

Thought the characters needed development, the plot devices were contrived, and the soundtrack could have used more Depeche Mode and it had nothing catchy. It's the worst of the three films IMO -- the first had vision and originality, the second a fantastic soundtrack and good mystery.

I'm thinking producing and starring in your own vanity piece is a recipe for failure.

I would give it a bit higher, but agree other than the soundtrack. NIN had some bangers on it
