Rydac (who generally lurks here at Enworld, but sometimes posts) is trying to put together a game now (I met him through Enworld). Since he knows more people, I'm letting him do the work.
I'm itching to play sooner (especially GM), and am considering going to the Trinity College gaming club to try to get a game going -- either WFRP 2e, True20, or C&C (whatever people wanted -- probably not C&C simply because the game has no presence here; True20 would be easier because of its similarity to 3e, but WFRP would probably be the easiest). I haven't done so yet, as I'm rather busy with the new job and trying to write articles (and I'm not sure how well a 35 year old would be received at a college gaming club -- I've had some good experiences in the past, but only because I knew a few grad students involved).
A bunch of people play games (card games, board games, and RPGs) at a pub nearby on Tuesday evenings. I've wandered around a few times, but I'm not sure how to join a game or get one started (and despite my occasional brashness on these boards, I am rather shy in person). If I get some more time (Tuesday evenings are bad for me now), I will try to figure out how that group works, and try to join.
I've been relying on my C&C PBP game over at RPGnet (see sig) for my 'RPG fix' for now, as well as an occasional 'chat-based' game over at Dragonsfoot. But hopefully Rydac will get his campaign running soon.
Wow -- that was a long-winded answer. Sorry! Back to True20 Fantasy ...
