Trying to break flurry of blows lately...

Ok, here's the first problem: When I quote your post, I don't get to reply to your bolded responses. It's a little inconvenient.

Locked Gauntlet. Makes it a full round action to change weapons. It's pretty good if you use it on a good weapon.
onus on the attack roll of +4 per difference in size category. "

I don't remember reading anything of the sort.

Don't. Giacomo's an idiot.

Sorry about that.
And that rant wasn't necessarily directed at you guys, I just needed to rant I guess. The part about questing for a weapon is for unique weapons, something like Aegis-fang or Artemis' jeweled dagger (can't remember the name) as for feats I don't know why I put that there maybe I was thinking about obscure feats or specialized feats or something, like if a character had no way to know about a particular technique, he could travel to a new land and try to learn it from somebody, sorry about the incessant jaw flapping.

So were you joking about monks using Use Magic Device?

Just to bring you up to speed, Popertop: there's an infamous poster by the nick of Giacomo (first on GiantITP, I believe) who thinks Monks are the most powerful of all base classes.
He (she?) used to post loads of ludicrously mediocre arguments to "prove" his point, which ended up relying on magic items and cross-class UMD ranks. His point was Monks were more capable than other base classes of getting something out of this setup. Whoa.
Just so you don't get confused: Monks may get some benefit out of magic items and cross-class UMD. However, so do other classes, whose features actually provide some synergy one way or another. Other classes might also have UMD as a class skill, along with good Charisma, or they might conceivably even be, you know, casters.
