I wasn't as impressed with this movie as I was with the first one. I understand the need to have changes from book to movie but I wasn't real happy with some of the changes. That being said I thought Haldir's death was very well done I was more happy with the elves showing up after his death as them being there made more sense, just throwing them in for the heck of it was silly but throwing them in so you can have the death scene of a elf was perfectly acceptable to me. I hated the fact that he said that Elrond sent him, I heard somebody mention that Elrond was King of the Elves and I almost butted in on a strangers conversation to tell them they were wrong. I also have great worries about the Rangers and Elrond's sons showing up with Narsil, I expect more of Liv Tyler hogging screen time instead.
