Throw in a rod of lesser quickening and go nuts.

You have to pick up your dancing sword and activate it again just as with the spell (pick it up and cast it again). Except, in the case of the spell, you don't even have to pick it up. Also, what makes you think it only works for the caster? I see "Range: Touch" in your quote.
So, what is your answer to the OP's question? You are not considering my response at all, either way, it seems.
I don't think how you play the weapon matters at all, as long as you are consistent with the dancing property and the spell. If the dancing property, however you play it, is worth +4, then a 2nd level spell is too low. Maybe, just maybe, there could be some leeway for Bards, but not wiz/src. Like I said, the fact that it lasts only 4 rounds is not a balancing factor at all because that's exactly how the +4 market ability functions, too.FEADIN said:A 2nd level spell with a duration of 4 rounds doesn't seems overpowered, even if you look at keen edge 3rd/10min lvl.
You get the BAB of the caster which is not very good and my sentence can follow...
It depends how you play the weapon.
Ok, I have to say that the +4 ability seems wrong if my reading of the powers is good, in this case the spell seems ok.Infiniti2000 said:I don't think how you play the weapon matters at all, as long as you are consistent with the dancing property and the spell.
