//No worries, chin is up;) Do you have any LEB players Ken? Anyone else? Just picked up a bunch of Eberron novels at the library to get a better grip on the world.//

//no LEB, but I know Eberron (pre-4e) fairly well. I liked the Khyber one, with the mage Singe, and the Shifter. I love the first one by the setting's creator, and the next two were okay (though suffered due to not being in a city, which the author really brings out and does a good job of). There's one where the hero is chasing after his daughter (an elf girl) through Cyre, but it was so repetitive I couldn't keep going through, I think, the second novel in the series.

things are crazy for me tonight, but I'll try to post Emral's action soon. I'm daunted by the OAs, as we started in melee, so if I can't use my AoEs then I'm going to just chaos bolt and hope for the best (hitting multiple people with rebounds, maybe).

flaming sphere is a wicked-cool spell you can keep up with minor actions every round. my RL players always for get it, and we have character deaths as a result. really underestimated in general (which is why Emral used it when he was a wizard: it's so good!)//

Emral wooshes back his energy, spinning his arms around in the way masters of elemental energy do, and he spends a Dave token to heal Drivan. He then lets loose with a magnificent burning spray attack, attempting to get as many skeletons next to him with one shot as he can.

after the flaming barrage, he shifts away from the skeletons flanking him. Vaunea, cover Drivan while he gets up! Let's start a human shield so they can't get to him, then we'll wipe them out.

[sblock=ooc] I'm getting q12, 11, 10, r 11, p11, 10; all in the close blast. 1d20+6=21, 1d20+6=10, 1d20+6=24, 1d20+6=20, 1d20+6=11, 1d20+6=14 As they're all Minions, I don't know that it matters what the damage is? 1d8+8=15

plus one Dave token, and a shift to P11.

I don't remember if I have an Action point left?
[/sblock]

//oh, that changes stuff... Okay, can I just change my action slightly: aiming for the skeletons at O-Q11-Q9? So Use a Dave Token, then hit that triangle of skeletons, same number of attacks, then shift one square to the right, then minor action to heal; with a potion?

//What triangle of skeletons?//
//O11-q11-q9. There's six of them, arranged in a wedge or quasi-triangle. Six of them, six attack rolls I made, so it's effectively the same attack I posted earlier but on different squares.
I want to shift into the space left by the one closest to Drivan, so I can be a human shield while he gets back to his feet. I figure he might be wanting to scorching burst the rest of them, and if our party surrounds him on all sides he can ranged-explode them out of our hair/fur/feathers/tastefully coiffed flames. We take care of the ones attempting to get adjacent to him, then boom.

//*sigh* I've been waiting for fireinthedust to post, and didn't realize that he already had. I need to be more on the ball.//

//Okay. I've re-read FitD's posts, and I'm confused. Are you making two attack since you've got an Action Point, or are you just adding the use of the potion?//
