GM: Unfortunately Maka is unable to capitalize on his advantage. His strike and his manipulation of Way both end ineffectively. Raven Elk, however, having just dispatched one foe, turns left to assist Maka with his remaining one.

GM: Raven Elk, as a second opponent, proves too much for the Kaalatala. The spear pierces his side, nicking a kidney. The foes falls, incapacitated and unconscious. Despite his own injury, Taylar is able to reach out for the more injured Novice as he is trying to flee before the enemy can react.

The Novice is not incapacitated by the loss, but having twice experienced a power far beyond his understanding, he is terrified to inactivity. Taylar clubs him over the head, sending him to oblivion.

All threats have been eliminated. One Kaalatala is dead. Three others will be shortly. The remaining ones are all incapacitated and will be for some days to come. Vittero is conscious but completely unable to move. It will take him 17 days to recover without assistance.

Looking around he realizes that no foes remain standing, but hearing that Vittero is significantly injured, he moves to him in order render aid.

Taylar takes one of the zinc ingots and kneels down next to Raven Elk. Taylar says, "Let's use this." He will expend the zinc to aid in Mend to restore Vittero's Body.

After they have done what they can for Vittero, Taylar will help in searching the Kaalatala. After they have stripped the corpses for anything useful he will search the area around the bodies for anything interesting. Then, depending on how much time Vittero needs, Taylar will search in a wider area around the battle site.

GM: Taylar finds that the Kaalatala, whether male or female are all dressed in a rudimentary manner. They are all clothed in a sheepskin loincloth. Their forearms and shins are also wrapped in sheepskin. The three older Kaalatala, of which 1 is male and 2 are female, also have their waists wrapped in sheepskin to provide some protection for the abdomen. The younger ones each carry a bone-tipped javelin, the older ones a stone-tipped one. The weapons and clothing are all very crude and of no monetary value; however, each is decorated with some talisman or trinket.
