Taylar shakes his head... "We didn't come here to kill... Who is this Markidian..?"

Adisakti says to Taylar in Maldrog and a low voice, "I do not know. I like the idea of killing this guy."

The Amiradtha frowns and makes a dismissive gesture like shooing a fly. "Bah! I am tired of talking. I have work to do. Since you do not want to kill, perhaps you came to die. Go sit around the abandoned town. Within a tenday, I should be finished with the new sets of armor, and you can see the man for yourself. Ha. Ha. Of course I do not really recommend it. You boys should run along and play."

With that he turns back to his task at hand.

Shrugging, Taylar takes up his bludeons and starts towards the Amiradtha, defensive posture. As he creeps forward, he says, "You act as though we have a right to kill you. Making armor is hardly worth the death penalty. For all we know, you're just an old man, forced into this life by some mean tyrant. Why don't you tell us about this Markidian man, leave this smelly place, and live the rest of your life in peace? To us and the rest of this land it would be as though you died, but we don't leave a bloody body on the ground. What shall it be, go out on our terms, or yours?"

He will adjust his movements to attack with Raven Elk, attempting to use their numbers to the advantage, trusting Adisakti to flank. Out of patience, he will strike to kill.

The man circles to his left as the three men close. Though deceptively quick, he cannot keep completely away from three competent opponents. The tiny metal rings on his belt are finger holes for balanced throwing knives, of which he launches three before Taylar can reach him. The blades strike true but non can penetrate the protective armor of the men. The man dodges the attack of Taylar, who reaches him first, and norrowly avoids the saber of Adisakti, who reaches him second, but the spear of Raven Elk strike home, piercing the man's well-made tunic and injuring him.

The agile foe does not seem ready to yield with the one injury and continuously moves to try to avoid melee.

Being beyond the run of the mill wanderer, the man grits his teeth at the damage from the spear thrust and learns from his mistake. He had underestimated the prowess and efficiency of his three opponents, a mistake he did not intend to repeat. Even injured, he knows that he can outrun his enemies, if he wanted to flee, but he does not, but he chooses to refrain from trying to engage all three simultaneously.

He continuously runs in a circle, retrieving his knives as he throws them, only stopping long enough to throw a single knife at a time. This change in tactics only allows one of the three men, at a time, a chance to engage him with his melee weapon. The man manages to avoid any physical contact while inflicting some very minor damage on each of the three.

Adisakti cries out in Maldrog, "My bending skill is poor, but we need to augment our tactics. He has adjusted too quickly and will gain the upper hand."
