Having successfully caused the ox to halt, Astarte, in her cage, can yet do nothing to any guard, but she enhances her own ability to move (Motility) in preparation.
Taylar enhances his movement, waits for Adisakti to reach the rear guards, and charges the speaker, who appears to be startled by the sudden movement.
Raven Elk, who can no longer be easily seen by the others, makes it about parallel to the oxcart when he hears Taylar speak and Adisakti shout. He can see all others, just fine, and is in range to mystically assault either set of guards or effect the oxcart.

OOC:
Each character receives 5 DP. State combat intentions, if any changes for those already attacking or other actions. Provide two random rolls (d100). Surprise attacks for Taylar and Adisakti have, purposefully, not yet been handled.
Adisakti will camouflage himself as he engages the guard on his right, moving to his right as he does, hoping to reduce the certainty of being flanked by more than one opponent.
Not wanting to be a craven backstabber, Raven Elk comes up behind the nearest guard to him, taps the guard on the shoulder and says:
"Psst. Heretic calling."
Being trained to fight, the soldiers have yet to grasp any gauge of their opponents. They ready themselves for battle, as they should. Seeing that they are not against archers, the quad formations remain as units, each man using his peripheral vision to maintain spacing. The forward unit begins moving toward Taylar, the man holding the lead rope for the ox having let it go. The rear unit turns as one, to face the movement of Adisakti. All are unaware of Raven Elk.
Taylar, who startles the man by his sudden aggression, takes a solid hit square in the chest. The blow sounds like a clap of thunder. The hammer alone, cracks the man's sternum, knocking him unconscious. The force of the air throws him into the man behind him, who reflexively puts up his shield. The back of the man's head cracks on shield. He falls to the ground, dying.
Adisakti does not have the advantage of surprise, but he still manages to sticks one of the rear guards with his saber, cutting him very badly.
Raven Elk, startles one of the other forward guards as he walks up a calls to him. When the man turns to face the voice, he finds a spear sticking in his gut. Raven Elk, who can generate an area of effect with his talent to bend waylines, not only irritates the internal fluids of the one he struck but the other three forward guards as well.
As the rear guards backs toward the wagon holding the prisoner, one feels as if someone had stuck him in the back with a flaming stick. He jumps and looks around, having no idea of the cause, staring bug-eyed at the woman in the cage, fearing it has to be something to do with her.
In the initial exchange of blows, another guard to Tayalr's left manages to stick him with a sword, but the blow does not penetrate his tunic. Quickly having to face two guards, Adisakti takes a sword to his left side, but it does not penetrate his tunic. The guards are not yet in such disarray that they are trying to quit the fight.
Feeling confident, even though he is facing four opponents, Adisakti will continue to press melee, moving about to try to avoid being surrounded. He calls to the girl, thinking that she can understand Markidian. "Rock that cage and knock it over, then kick off the top!"
With his immediate opponents presently discomfitted, Raven Elk strikes at another of the guards with his spear while preparing for a counter offensive from the others.
OOC: rolls --- (oh you've got to be kidding me!), 54, 71, 33 (bonus roll: 43 [Aargh!], 87, 70.
Taylar intends to attempt to intimidate the guards by saying his battle cry, "Du magst also zulfallige Gewalt!"
He intends to continue fighting with his bludgeons, manipulating waylines to increase his strength.
