The plane full of people melting was a bit...much. Especially watching the guy's jaw drop. Literally. Eeewwwww.

Not bad, though. Very X-files'ish.

I have hope for it.

Thought it was silly and unnecessarily convoluted in places - lots of reaching and 'coincidences', especially to create the goofy "twist" in the end.

But I love me some Megacorps, so I'll be curious to see how they use Maximum Dynamic in the future. "What don't we do." = Heh. Good stuff.

Hopefully Abrams doesn't get bored of this one like he did with all his other shows.

I thought the melting was a bit much (not a gore fan in general).

It seemed pretty disconnected and I was loosing interest until the woman at MD mentioned the pattern. That peaked my interest and I got sold on watching the next few episodes once Broyles invited Dunham to join his group.

I liked the Dr Walter Bishop character.

Hopefully Abrams doesn't get bored of this one like he did with all his other shows.

The problem with Abrams is the rebooting of the shows every season to season and a half combined with an inability to properly plan long term arcs. I am willing to bet that by the end of season 2 the show with have become bloated with questions with no answers and unrecognizable from its premiere, except for the actors.

I watched the first hour, thought it was okay but not special enough to miss the first thirty-five minutes of Eureka so I changed the channel. I like Peter and Walter but not liking Olivia that much.

I gave the show a shot, but gave up on it ten minutes in for alternating between too creepy and the main characters' love life.

Well, I think you will later decide that was unwise. There was purpose to the love life issue.

I saw it, and I thought it was quite good. Much better than I expected. The beginning was slow, but once put in context by what happens later it was necessary and good.

In a word: blah.

Then again, it sounds like I shouldn't have missed the first few minutes. Maybe the shock value would have offset the general tedium.
