TV Series on DVD - favorites?

What I have...

ST:DS9 1-4
Transformers: Season 1 and Season 2, part 1
Stargate seasons 1-3
D&D cartoon (all episodes--this was something off of Ebay; a fan-made collection with unique packaging and, IMO, one hell of a great collection for being unnofficial)
Millennium (all seasons including a soundtrack cd from season 1--as above a fan-made dvd collection with ultra-great packaging and worth every penny). To stall further debate, I'll direct you to the site I bought it from: http://www.millenniumdesktop.co.uk/html/mill_dvd_review_pg3.htm

Obviously, I want the rest of Transformers, Stargate, DS9, as well as selected seasons of TNG and even Voyager. Although after reading throught this thread, there'll be more added to this want list.

Just Homicide for me. Season 1–3. The best part is that they're in the order the producers wanted, not NBC's order :).

I can barely keep up with the DVDs I have now, so I haven't bought others.

Strangers With Candy - there just something about Jerri Blank that is so repulsive, I force myself to watch her. Almost bought season 2 today, but I'll get it tomorrow or Wednesday. It's got my favorite episode, where Jerri joins a cult and no one wants to rescue her.

And finally a cool BBC series called Ultraviolet -- one of the more interesting takes on vampires I've seen in a while. Six episodes, I think, and very, very good.
That was a fun show. Didn't know it was out of DVD; may have to get it. With only 6 episodes (love that British system!) it may be reasonably priced.

It's nice to see some Mr. Show/Ben Stiller Show fans here...I was surprised by Eric Noah.

I don't have any DVDs of TV shows, but once I start my collection, I'll plan to get: Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Ben Stiller Show, Cowboy Bebop, Family Guy, Futurama, Jackass, Mr. Show, Oz, Ranma 1/2, The Simpsons, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, and Sports Night.

Cheers!

I always fear getting shows on DVD.. because I know I'd compulsively HAVE to have all the seasons (like STNG, etc.) .. I just couldn't afford to make the kind of collections I really want. :(

So, sadly, I have no series on DVD ... yet ;)

re

Cheers
The X-Files First seven seasons.

for what I own.

I would love to pick up:

Classic Star Trek
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Black Adder

I'm tentative about picking up Frasier. I loved the character on Cheers, but I haven't watched the show all that often.

I hope they put the following on DVD:

Taxi
Millennium
The Equalizer

Having an awesome library system, I just check TV series I want out from the Library for 4 weeks.

I am 131 in line for the sopranos! They have 14 copies. So thats 5 months worse case scenario. 1 to 5 months! About the time that it would take me to save up enough to buy it and rental joints never rent long enough to watch a series. You have to watch it all right away.

Go King County Library!

Aaron.

Celtavian, did you see my above link? You should seriously consider this if you want Millennium. At this same site was just reported that Lance Henriksen completed an interview for FOX's official Millennium dvd set (although dates and other details are up in the air). The box set offered at http://www.millenniumdesktop.co.uk/html/main_index.shtml is a worthwhile alternative for your dollar.

The only TV series set I have is Farscape Season 1, and yes, it was expensive... but the show's so darn good!

Now if I could just afford Season 2... :)

Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Smallville. Of course, that also describes my entire TV-On-DVD collection. I just cannot justify the price for Bab5, Farscape or Stargate to myself, yet, even as Xmas presents.

I do want to pick up Family Guy sets, and hopefully I'll be seing Batman: The Animated Series and X-Men: Evolution full season packs soon.

I might pick up some BrtitComs if I can get them cheap: Vicar of Dibley, Keeping Up Appearances, and of course the Fawlty Towers set.
